Asamyuta Hastas (28)

  • Asamyuta means "not combined" in Sanskit.  Hastas means "hands".
  • Therefore Asamyuta Hastas means "Hand gestures of single(non-combined) hand".
  • These are 24 according to Bharta Muni's "NatyaShastra" and 28 as per Nandikeshwara's  "Abhinaya Darpana".
