evvade vadu, O bhama! vedevvade?

evvade nenu pavvalinca vela
puvvu bana mesi ravva cesi poye ||evvade||
(as I lay resting on the bed, he hurled a flower arrow
to upset me and went away, who is he?)
Charanam:
Garita , O garita, vaniki nenu satama?
nannu gaddincipaluku tccitamA?
nA purusuduraleni proddu mapativela
suddula delinci muddu bettuka poye ||evvade||
(Oh dear, am I his property? Is it proper for him to address me so
familiarly? While my man was out of town, in the daylight, he
whispered tender words ,gave me a kiss and went away, Who is he?)
